Ecotek System
The Ecotek perimeter guarding system was created with the specific purpose of reducing costs where large areas need to be restricted. Each panel is framed in box section making it rigid and light but at the same time very robust. A key strength of this product is visibility; the powder coated black mesh allows excellent vision of the dangerous area. The innovative quick installation kit allows one engineer to swiftly assemble an entire guarding system.

Cost
The cost of Ecotek guarding is lower than Novatek because it is manufactured using lighter 10×25 box section. The reduced panel weight enables faster installation and lower transport costs.
Visibility
The innovative 32×67x3mmØ steel mesh combined with the black protective coating of the entire panel improves visibility of the machinery within the segregated area compared to some other systems that are available.
Modular
Quick Installation
The quick installation kit is used to optimise assembly time, even enabling installation by a single operator.
The kit contains three brackets specially designed to make sure the product corresponds to the standard norms, enabling safe, straight forward assembly. When finished the kit must be removed.
Accessories
Telescopic Post
This post can be easily adjusted for adverse ground conditions and where there are larger differences in height such as a low step, platform or channel.
Intermediate Support
This support is used specifically for long distances and is beneficial when two of the longest panels are joined. It guarantees good stability and resistance to impact. Cost optimisation is further enhanced as it can be used to substitute a linear post.
Custom Panels
We can create special framed panels that are specific to design requirements. Access to suds tanks, swarf conveyors and electrical isolation points are prime examples. Inner tunnel guards are often fitted to ensure compliance with ISO 13857:2019 Safety of machinery — Safety distances.
Angle Kit
Doors with Customised Logo
On request, we offer a customised corporate door logo. This is an important customisation that adds value to modular protection systems.
Levelling Kit
This kit is for uprights 40×40 – 40×80. This kit enables vertical adjustment of the posts and compensates for un-even floors.
Special Panels
Mesh + PVC
Mesh panel 32×67 with a PVC infill utilising a Novatek perimeter guarding panel frame. Applications that require protection from ejection hazards such as lubricant, coolant and shavings; also ideal to reduce the distance between a machine or process and the guarding (safety distances ISO 13857:2019)

Standard Doors
SINGLE-HINGED DOOR
The single-hinged door is designed for all day, general use. Simply held closed by magnets it allows access and egress of the segregated area by simply pushing or pulling the door panel.
– Light 735 wheel base 775 (Panel B=700)
– Light 1035 wheel base 1075 (Panel B=1000)
– Light 1235 wheel base 1275 (Panel B=1200)
– Light 1535 wheel base 1575 (Panel B=1500)
DOUBLE-HINGED DOOR
The double hinged door uses the same principle as the single-hinged door, but a vertical deadbolt is fitted that anchors one of the two door panels to the ground.
– Light 1450 wheel base 1490 (Panel B=700+700)
– Light 2050 wheel base 2090 (Panel B= 1000+1000)
– Light 2450 wheel base 2490 (Panel B= 1200+1200)
– Light 3050 wheel base 3090 (Panel B= 1500+1500)
SUSPENDED SINGLE SLIDING DOOR
The suspended single sliding door uses an upper monorail carriage, while the lower fixing has an aluminium profile with nylon rollers which reduces oscillation of the panel.
– Light 830 wheel base 870 (Panel B=1000)
– Light 1030 wheel base 1070 (Panel B=1200)
– Light 1330 wheel base 1370 (Panel B=1500)
SUSPENDED DOUBLE SLIDING DOOR
The suspended double sliding doors allows the opening of both doors in opposite directions and uses the same principle as the suspended single sliding door.
– Light 1200 wheel base 1160 (Panel B=700+700)
– Light 1760 wheel base 1800 (Panel B= 1000+1000)
– Light 2160 wheel base 2200 (Panel B= 1200+1200)
– Light 2760 wheel base 2800 (Panel B= 1500+1500)
SINGLE SLIDING DOOR
The single sliding door uses a floor mounted rail (optional fit on smooth, level floors) and the door panel has a wheel at each end allowing smooth, oscillation free operation. The same panel is guided by an upper plate with nylon rollers.
– Light 770 wheel base 860 (panel B=1000)
– Light 970 wheel base 1060 (panel B= 1200)
– Light 1270 wheel base 1360 (panel B= 1500)
DOUBLE SLIDING DOOR
The double sliding doors allows the opening of both doors in opposite directions and uses the same principle as the single sliding door.
– Light 1035 Wheel base 1205 (Panel B=700+700)
– Light 1635 Wheel base 1805 (Panel B=1000+1000)
– Light 2035 Wheel base 2205 (Panel B=1200+1200)
– Light 2635 Wheel base 2805 (Panel B=1500+1500)
Special Doors
BI-FOLD DOOR
SINGLE OR DOUBLE TELESCOPIC DOOR
The telescopic door has the advantage of not having guides at the top or at the bottom and is ideal for forklift truck operation or for those who have space problems. Its operation exploits the efficiency of the telescopic guides or linear movement systems that guarantee optimum efficiency and long service life.
TELESCOPIC DOOR ASSEMBLY
The compact telescopic door assembly is used mainly when there is limited space and a large area to cover. This unique design is ideal for raised loading bays or when a safety barrier is required between two existing fixed points. Its operation exploits the effectiveness of the telescopic rails and floor guides, providing excellent efficiency and a long service life.
VERTICAL SLIDING DOOR – MANUAL
The manually operated vertical sliding door is counterbalanced via a system of pulleys, linear guides and weights that ensure safety, functionality and years of trouble-free operation.
VERTICAL SLIDING DOOR – AUTOMATIC
The vertical sliding door is operated by a pneumatic cylinder. The door panel is guided by a system of pulleys, linear guides, and bearings. An additional safety control panel linked to a laser scanner, safe edge or light curtains is recommended to prevent possible injury to the operator.
HORIZONTAL SLIDING DOOR – AUTOMATIC
Door Locks
ANTI PANIC KEY LOCKS FOR HINGED DOORS
These allow the doors to be locked with a key from outside and ensures safe keyless opening from inside in case of accidental confinement.
KEYED SAFETY LOCKS FOR HINGED OR SLIDING DOORS
The safety lock allows the hinged door or sliding door to be locked with a key and thus prevents access to unauthorised personnel. The device is equipped with an internal anti-imprisonment lever that prevents involuntary closure. Fixings comply with current standards. It is designed for use with one to three padlocks to prevent operators or maintenance personnel becoming accidentally locked within an enclosure or confined space.
TRAPPED KEY LOCK
The trapped key lock allows an increased degree of safety in mechanical operating systems. It prevents the restart of a machine or process against the will of those who are within the segregated area through a coded key that cannot be duplicated. It is easy to instal on both new and existing systems and does not require electrical integration.
MULTI-LOCK LOCK
The multi-lock lock is applied to the hinged doors and functions as part of an integrated system that controls access to the dangerous area. The device is equipped with an internal anti-imprisonment lever that prevents involuntary closure from inside and allows emergency exit. Fixings comply with current standards. It is designed for use with one to three padlocks to prevent operators or maintenance personnel becoming accidentally locked within an enclosure or confined space.
